Macroom Environmental Industrial Park is located within the thriving town of Macroom, some 40 kilometres west of Cork city off the National Primary Route N22 serving Cork to Killarney. This EI-Park, set against a backdrop of the beautiful Lee Valley, may be of particular interest to firms or organisations who are engaged in processing activities such as Food and/or Food Ingredients; Fabrication and/or Assembly Operations; Computer Software Development; Biotechnology' Medical and Veterinary Research including Laboratories; Database and IT Development and related services, to name but some. Infrastructure and servicing in the Park includes roads, power, telephone, storm & foul sewers, paths, public lighting, perimeter fencing and soft landscaping.  The Development Section of Cork County Council is offering to sell the three remaining available industrial sites, each of which comprise an area of circa 0.2 Ha (0.5 acres). Offers to purchase by prospective clients will be considered on the basis of being expressed subject to grant of Planning Permission for an intended suitable use which in turn will be given priority provided the planned activity embraces the principle elements of Sustainable Development. The sites are being offered for sale subject to the Approval of Cork County Council and Grant of Planning Permission by Macroom Town Council, on a freehold fee simple basis, and to undertakings to be provided by the successful bidders for the ongoing maintenance and management of the internal infrastructure of the Park in co-operation with Cork County Council.
